Course Description/Purpose:
The development of more minimally invasive products and procedures has given physicians multiple options from which to choose to help patients achieve a rejuvenated appearance. Positive patient outcomes are highly dependent on physician skill as well as a thorough understanding of anatomy and product characteristics. The improvement in facial suspension suture technology has led to the development of more refined devices and successful outcomes calls for appropriate training. This course will review current suture options and their safety profile. Video demonstrations which include tips and technique from experienced physicians are included. 

To complete this activity and receive credit, the participant should:

  • Review the materials on accreditation information, target audience, learning objectives, and disclosure information
  • Complete the entire self-study
  • Complete the post-test and evaluation/claim form

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
Identify minimally invasive suture options that can be used to reposition and/or tighten facial skin.
Describe procedures for insertion of suspension sutures that contain smooth cones.
Devise individualized management plans for aesthetic facial rejuvenation using suspension sutures.
