Course Description
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is increasingly incorporated into aesthetic practices for hair restoration, facial rejuvenation, acne scar management, and combination regenerative therapies. Module 1 reviews PRP biology, preperation techniques, patient selection, treatment protocols, and current clinical evidence supporting these applications. Learners will gain practical, evidence-based guidance for integrating PRP into an aesthetic practice while recognizing areas where evidence remains limited.

This educational activity is designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other licensed healthcare professionals practicing aesthetic medicine who perform or assist with regenerative and injectable procedures, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), dermal fillers, neuromodulators, microneedling, and energy-based treatments 

Continuing Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accrediation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Medical Educational Council of Pensacola (MECOP) and xMedica, LLC. Method of Participation 
There are no fees for participating in and receiving credit for this activity. During the period of August 11, 2026 through August 10, 2029, participants must 1) review the materials on accreditation information, target audience, learning objectives, and disclosure information, 2) complete the pre-test, 3) complete the entire self-study, and 4) complete the post-test and evaluation/claim form.

A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a completed activity evaluation form and a completed posttest with a score of 80% or better. Statements of credit will be issued at the end of the program.
