Course Description/Purpose:
This accredited program delves into the nuances of newly introduced injectables and expanded indications for existing ones. It explores pioneering applications of biostimulatory fillers in face and body contouring, highlighting their significance in the burgeoning field of “Aesthetic Regenerative Medicine.” The program features a combination of lectures and patient demonstrations, incorporating content from the Global Aesthetics Conference held in Miami, FL.

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe injection techniques with BoNTA taking into account a patient’s anatomy.
  • Explain the difference among the HA fillers and how their specific characteristics make them ideal for different parts of the face.
  • Describe injection techniques with HA fillers in the periorbital areas that produce satisfactory patient outcomes while minimizing side effects.
  • Identify effective expanded applications of biostimulatory fillers for improving skin quality and non-surgical skin tightening in the face and body.
  • Describe the role of microdroplet injections of HA fillers in improving skin smoothness.

Target Audience
This CME-certified activity is primarily intended and designed to educate clinicians who inject dermal fillers and neuromodulators. Primary specialties include dermatology, facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and plastic surgery. Cosmetic and aesthetically focused clinicians will also benefit from this activity.

Method of Participation 
There are no fees for participating in and receiving credit for this activity. During the period January 2023 through January 2025, participants must 1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures, 2) study the educational activity, 3) complete the posttest by recording the best answer to each question, and 4) complete the evaluation form.

A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a completed activity evaluation form and a completed posttest with a score of 80% or better. Statements of credit will be issued at the end of the program.
