Course Details

Course Description/Purpose:
This CME course, the first of two, focuses on advanced biostimulatory fillers for panfacial rejuvenation. It educates injectors on the various applications of these fillers in their original, diluted, and hyperdiluted forms. The course covers their use in rejuvenating areas like temples, cheeks, jawline, mid-face, neck, and décolleté. It includes a lecture, a roundtable discussion, and case studies highlighting the impact of a single treatment. The second course, launching in 2024, will focus on the effects of multiple treatments.

To complete this activity and receive credit, the participant should:

  • Review the materials on accreditation information, target audience, learning objectives, and disclosure information
  • Complete the entire self-study
  • Complete the post-test and evaluation/claim form

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Perform a comprehensive aesthetic analysis of the face, neck, and décolleté utilizing an approach that takes into consideration the impact of facial aging, normal as well as ethnic variations in facial proportions, and the patient’s desired outcome. 
  • Describe the qualities of biostimulatory fillers that allow them to be used in a non-dilute, diluted, and hyperdiluted fashion to achieve panfacial rejuvenation. 
  • Describe various injection techniques and patterns when using biostimulator fillers in a non-dilute, diluted, and hyperdiluted state in various areas of the face, neck, and décolleté. 
  • Identify ways to effectively manage complications that may result from injections of biostimulatory dermal fillers in the face.

Target Audience

This accredited activity is designed and intended to educate physicians and extenders who currently perform injectable treatments with biostimulatory fillers or those who would like to learn more about this these treatments. Primary specialties include dermatologists, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, plastic surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, and aesthetic medicine clinicians.


Continuing Education

There are no fees for participating in and receiving credit for this activity. During the period January 2023 through January 2025, participants must 1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures, 2) study the educational activity, 3) complete the posttest by recording the best answer to each question, and 4) complete the evaluation form.

A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a completed activity evaluation form and a completed posttest with a score of 80% or better. Statements of credit will be issued at the end of the program.
