Course Details

Course Description/Purpose:
This CE-accredited activity was filmed during the live meeting of the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Conference (VCS) held on June 10, 2023. Videos include a review of the emerging uses of hyperdilute biostimulatory fillers for shaping and sculpting the face and body. The use of these fillers in areas such as the neck, upper arms, décolletage, and buttocks is also included.

To complete this activity and receive credit, the participant should:

  • Review the materials on accreditation information, target audience, learning objectives, and disclosure information
  • Complete the entire self-study
  • Complete the post-test and evaluation/claim form

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Identify expanded applications of hyperdilute biostimulatory filler therapy for sculpting, shaping, and/or volumizing different areas of the body.
  • Describe proper patient selection when choosing to use hyperdilute biostimulatory fillers to sculpt, shape, or volumize different areas of the body.
  • Describe recommended injection techniques when using biostimulatory fillers for sculpting, shaping, and/or volumizing the buttocks.
  • Evaluate the safety profile of biostimulatory filler therapies and demonstrate improved patient care through the avoidance and treatment of complications.

Target Audience
This CME-certified program is primarily intended and designed to educate dermatologists, facial plastic surgeons, plastic surgeons, cosmetic and aesthetic physicians, extenders, and others who use biostimulatory fillers for body shaping and sculpting.

Method of Participation 
There are no fees for participating in and receiving credit for this activity. During the period January 2023 through January 2025, participants must 1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures, 2) study the educational activity, 3) complete the posttest by recording the best answer to each question, and 4) complete the evaluation form.

A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a completed activity evaluation form and a completed posttest with a score of 80% or better. Statements of credit will be issued at the end of the program.
