Course Details

Course Description/Purpose:
This novel course includes a panel of 4 international physician thought leaders who share their knowledge and expertise with the use of microtoxin through lectures and discussions. The lecture reviews various aspects of microtoxin from clinical evidence, patient selection, treatment options, results, and safety. The faculty discussion focuses on their clinical experiences using microtoxin to treat a variety of issues.  

To complete this activity and receive credit, the participant should:

  • Review the materials on accreditation information, target audience, learning objectives, and disclosure information
  • Complete the entire self-study
  • Complete the post-test and evaluation/claim form

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize the scientific rationale for microtoxin treatment and the current evidence supporting this therapy
  • Explain optimal patient selection and expected treatment outcomes for microtoxin
  • Describe the different approaches for microtoxin delivery that can be used as well as the combination treatments that can be employed to further enhance outcomes

Target Audience
This CME-certified activity is primarily intended and designed to educate physicians and extenders who currently perform aesthetic procedures. Primary specialties include dermatologists, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, plastic surgeons, and cosmetic surgeons.
