Course Details

Course Description/Purpose:
In this course faculty will come together to discuss evaluation and safety, protocols, and patient communication, as well as their tips and pearls. Also included are demonstrations by Dr. Cohen and Dr. Ortiz, sharing their techniques when injecting in the lower face. 

To complete this activity and receive credit, the participant should:

  • Review the materials on accreditation information, target audience, learning objectives, and disclosure information
  • Complete the entire self-study
  • Complete the post-test and evaluation/claim form

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe ways to project the tip of the nose upward using dermal fillers
  • Describe the role the radix to achieve or maintain a smooth nasal frontal junction 
  • Describe injection techniques with dermal fillers that will help define the jawline
  • Describe how aging impacts the commissures of the mouth
  • Identify proven and safe techniques as well as ideal dermal fillers to treat perioral lines

Target Audience

This CME-certified activity is primarily intended and designed to educate physicians and extenders who currently perform facial injections. Primary specialties include dermatologists, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, plastic surgeons, and cosmetic surgeons.
