Nonsurgical skin tightening and body contouring is growing in popularity due to reduced downtime and improved outcomes. Technology continues to improve and there are many options for the aesthetic practitioner including microfocused ultrasound, RF, cryolipolysis and high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology. Microfocused ultrasound (MFU) has demonstrated impressive results in skin tightening/body contouring. This option requires understanding of the specific technology, proven treatment protocols and proper patient selection.
